Master Kwan

As a teenager master Kwan started studying under Li You Yun who had studied with a disciple of the famous Luo Guang Yu of Shanghai. It was 10 years later, after Li You Yun had passed away, that Chin Pang Kwan was accepted by Li Pei Xian as a student. Master Li was at the time vice-president of the Jing Wu association of Guang Dong, student of Luo Guang Yu, but most of all, disciple of Chen Zi Zheng, the master of Ying Zhao Quan.

Master Kwan will spend the next 25 years studying with master Li with whom he improved his skills in Tang Lang Quan, learned and mastered Ying Zhao Quan,Wu style Tai Ji Quan,different forms of the staff,the sword, the saber and the spear.It is also under master Li's guidance that master Kwan learned the traditional chinese medecine.

In 1978 master Kwan decided to move to Canada and opened up a modest chinese massage clinic in Montreal. He is today retired but continues to teach his martial arts.
